It uses a 3Gbps SATA interface and operates at a rotational speed of 5400 RPM, providing a balance between power efficiency and stable performance for daily computing needs such as document storage, media, and light application use.

With 8MB of cache support, the TOSHIBA MK6459GSXP is able to provide quite good data response for the conventional HDD class.
